Happy Holidays from Convene!

By Lucy Palmer on 10/12/21 08:24

It’s hard to believe 2021 is nearly over! One of our first articles this year was about racing through the pandemic - and that certainly turned out to be the case. This year has whizzed by!

The past twelve months have not been easy but we’ve learned to adapt to the new normal. For many, this has meant innovative ways of staying connected. Hopefully, 2022 will bring even more exciting opportunities to come together.

One key takeaway from this year is the growing importance of hybrid working. It’s been almost 6 months since the last lockdown, and many have returned to working in the office. As a result, organisations have had to research solutions that work for everyone.

Hybrid meetings might come with their own challenges but they are here to stay. The advantages of being able to hold meetings that are partly remote and partly in-person cannot be overstated.

In recent months, Convene has been focused on ensuring the transition to hybrid meetings is as simple as possible. We’ve hosted well-attended webinars and roundtables for our clients on organising effective hybrid meetings.

This new form of working has transformed the way we operate. For the first time in our 30-year history, we were able to attend hybrid conferences. This included the 2021 NHF Housing Conference which gave us hope for the future of digital transformation.

Speaking of innovation, we did not let the pandemic stop us from working on new solutions. This month, we launched Convene In Teams. This powerful solution allows MS Teams users to take advantage of our software, without having to switch between two applications.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish a Happy New Year to our clients, old and new. Thank you for supporting our mission to streamline communication.

Here’s to another year of good governance!

Azeus Convene is an award-winning board management solution that is used by directors and executives in over 100 countries. The software gives users complete control over the meeting process – from pre-meeting preparation to post-meeting document distribution.
